11 months

My little baby it feels like I gave birth to yesterday has turned 11 months old! I know I can't say this enough, but time is going by so quickly! All of a sudden he has started to become this little person with likes and dislikes and favorite things and interests. We love him very much and can't gush enough about this boy...(Which I'm sure you've noticed this blog is ALL about him).

A few things about Connor...

He LOVES giving kisses, eating, watching TV (bad mommy) and touching, tasting and seeing EVERYTHING.

He can play peek-a-boo and patty-cake.

He takes a few steps on his own now.

He sleeps through the night!

He climbs!

He snuggles with me!

He loves music and dancing! He can't resist shaking that booty.

He points at what he wants now.

He loves being outside.

And SO much more...

1st Day of Fall

Today is the first day of fall. I am so excited to be saying goodbye to the hot summer months and welcome in the slightly less hot fall months. And even though it doesn't look like anything has changed outside I can always surf the web to see pictures of it. October is my favorite month and I'm so excited this year! Not only will my baby be turning one the holidays are coming and going to be a blast with him.

We've got a climber on our hands!

To say Connor has become a busy body is an understatement. He keeps us entertained and on our toes. We are constantly laughing at his new discoveries and watching him figure things out has been amazing. He has learned to climb on things. The stairs, the dishwasher, the coffee table...he LOVES climbing on laundry baskets and really anything that sits on the floor.

We were a little nervous he might break the door, but couldn't resist getting a few pictures of his new accomplishment.

Today he stood up on a basket and climbed on up and had a great time on the coffee table.

Kisses

Connor gives the BEST kisses! I was trying to get him to show me where his head is in this video, but he is far too distracted by the camera. He wants to put his hands on everything and puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. We have to watch him so close these days and have found some very interesting things he's put in there.

New favorite thing

One of Connor's new favorite places to play is in Max and Beans' bed. He sits very comfortably in it and the dogs won't go near it until he is on the other side of the room. He really likes to play with Beans and laughs hysterically when Beans runs around the room. They are good friends.

Almost walking...

Connor is getting SO close to walking, he's taken a step or two on his own and has started standing by himself. This video was a few weeks ago, but I've been too busy trying to catch him to post this. He loves his little mower and will walk with it until he hits something (like a wall, table or door). Then he just crawls off. Steering is the next obstacle we will work on.

We can't believe how BIG this little guy is and all of the things he is doing! I have lots more to post about what he's been up to lately.

Boyle Family Reunion 2008!

We just got back from another awesome family trip! We went to Florida to visit the Boyle side of the family. It was great...we landed in Ft. Lauderdale and stayed the night with James' parents. Then we drove down to Orlando to meet up with the rest of the gang. It was so much fun getting to see everyone and actually getting to know everyone. It was such a fun group.

We went to Disney world's Magic Kingdom and Connor loved it. His favorite thing was the ride Small World. He was mesmerized by everything! Thanks to everyone for making this such a special trip. It was so worth it and we can't wait to do it again!

Connor and I got to hang out with Heather and her little boy Mason today. We went swimming and the boys were wearing the same bathing suit, not even on purpose. This was the best picture I could get because both these guys are so busy. We had so much fun today at the pool, thanks H&M.

Connor got his pictures taken while we were in Utah by Skye Johansen-she is all the rage out there and you can see why. I am so excited to have these! He was so funny getting his picture taken...he couldn't stop sucking in his bottom lip. I will post more when I get the rest.
