last week my good friend nicole & i added to our holiday traditions of taking the kids to do fun holiday stuff and went to Agua Linda Farms for a picnic, face paint, hay ride, jumping castle, petting zoo, pony rides and an Easter egg hunt...it was hours of fun!  the kids loved it and i always enjoy it up there!

miss moo is obsessed with horses right now and getting to ride a real one was a dream come true...she took it very seriously

connor of course loved riding the horse he loves *aminals so much!

the egg hunt was fun to watch, miss moo wasn't too sure what to do {this was our 2nd one} but luckily connor understood and found enough eggs for the both of them.

this is cash's new sister chloe, she was such a doll.  my kids loved seeing her!

we had an awesome afternoon out there! 

i will defenately take the kids again next year...what a fun way to celebrate spring time and the Easter holiday!

"W" is for wild wild west

at preschool this week!

A couple funny things about this sweet boy lately...

his favorite new show is Fanboy & Chum Chum

his favorite song is "Head Up" by Andy Grammer

oh and he loves the band Yellowcard and sings so loud :)

he's all of a sudden afraid of the dark

he's pretty sassy lately and talks back :(

he loves to snuggle and will tell you exactly what is and what is not a proper snuggle

he still loves animals

he is so smart and asked me if birds get shocked when they sit on power lines

and he's starting to catch on to certain mommy tricks that are no longer cutting it {like only getting one happy meal to share "why do you do that mommy?"}

he knows we buy things on sale and when he wants something he doesn't just say he wants it, he says "mom is it on sale?"

he is one sweet older brother and puts up with molly's wildness {even when it hurts}without hitting back or being mean

he loves to color and paint

he has a rock collection

he loves playdough and even though he has zero attention span he will sit for hours and play with playdough, a rolling pin, cookie cutters and pretend to bake :)

he loves to help in the kitchen...

and so much more, but i just had to jot a few things down so i won't forget how fun/challenging 4 and a half has been.

i love this boy!

bowling with dad

james took connor bowling for the first time this month and connor loved it!

the food, the shirt, the ball...

james had such a fun time teaching connor how to bowl and connor did pretty good on his own

he scored a 71 all by himself!

it all started when connor found his bowling shirts in his closet and he knew exactly what they were...'mom i want to wear my bowling shirt and go bowling'

nana and papa boyle had this particular bowling shirt embroidered with his name a long time ago and it just now fits...so cute!

the kids and i went by my parent's a few weeks ago while all the other kids were in school

we found molly on the table outside getting into the paints

my dad sat outside and painted with them and the kids had a so much fun with their papa!

they made all sorts of creations

and papa painted things on request:

cars, dinosaurs, people...

we made a mess and ate snacks, everything you do when you go to grandpa's house :)

it was a sweet afternoon with papa and i know my dad loved every minute of it!

crazy hair day

connor's preschool class had crazy hair day for the letter "H"

so in honor of daddy's favorite pass time connor's head was a putting green

the execution was a little off but i thought my idea was fun and connor loved it

his was definitely the "craziest" in the class

all his head was missing was a flag for the hole, maybe next time

Birthday boy!

four years ago today October 12, 2007 at 11:17am i became a mommy

and my life has and never will be the same

in the best possible way...

we love this boy so much!

he is so sweet and loving, creative and smart

he makes us laugh and keeps us wondering 

"how does he know that?"

connor is still into Cars & dinosaurs but as recently he's pretty interested in 

Batman, dragons, transformers & power rangers

(total boy stuff)

connor loves preschool and relaxing on the couch :) (his words all the time)

he's very social and loves spending time with his cousins and friends and he's a great big brother to his little nolly

we had a great day today 

special breakfast, best friends to play with, presents

chuck-e-cheese, playing with the neighbor kids,

cake and more wild time with friends.

we are exhausted!

i can't wait to see what the next year brings connor...his interests, talents and adventures!

connor has become such a goofy boy...

connor started preschool today...

he had so much fun and loves his teacher

we are so excited he did so good and wasn't scared one bit to go inside, he didn't even say goodbye :( we are so proud!

we got a few pictures when we picked him up

it's so hard to believe he's big enough to go to preschool (*tear*)

he came home with a green sticker, which means he had a great day!

today connor learned that "sharing is fun"

he told me that when i reminded him to share with his sister, and he said "you're right Mom, sharing is fun."

when your this little

i came down stairs the other day and found connor lounging in a bucket we use for toys...

i was so surprised because i didn't see him in there at frist

i looked around the room for him and eventually landed on this

the funny part is that this isn't the first bucket he's enjoyed his shows in

and it cracks me up because he doesn't even think it's silly he thinks it totally what they are for.
