Heart Update

I just wanted to update all of those who have asked us about Connor's recent doctor appointment. It went very well and the holter monitor results were great. No episodes of SVT (supraventricular tachycardia) (rapid heart rate)!

We are unsure at this point if the medication is just working so well or that his body is simply not having symptoms of the WPW. Connor will continue his medication for the next year at the same dose in order to slowly grow out of it. At that point if there continues to be no episodes we will wean him off of the medication and just continue follow up with the cardiologist. He also still has a chance of outgrowing this syndrome, which would be amazing. So no plans for any procedure at this point. We are taking it a few months at a time and since Connor has not had any problems since he was born he is just a normal little boy and we are so thankful for that. He has a great doctor and we know that he will do what is best for Connor.

Thank you to all of you who have emailed and asked us about him we appreciate everyones support.

We were busy in Utah...

Our trip only lasted a week but we kept ourselves very buys. We stayed at Amy and Jason's house and had so much fun being there with them. Thanks guys for putting us up for a whole week. And thanks to their awesome neighbors for letting us borrow baby stuff!
James got to golf a few times and I got to hang with Amy and the kids. We went to an Aquarium one day and shopping in Salt Lake. Connor got his pictures taken by Skye Johansen and I can't wait to see them. He was so good for the shoot and she did some very fun stuff with him! It was a very fun trip.
After seeing the family and visitin with everyone my parents decided to take our family to Lagoon. This was so much fun for me because we did not grow up going to Disneyland. (We went a few times, we weren't totally deprived). We grew up going to Lagoon every summer. It was fun to be back there and remember all the fun times we had together. Needless to say it was an adventure as usual. Connor got his first shinner and I realized that I don't like roller coaster as much as I thought I did.

I think I was more excited then anyone to be there, even the kids.

Ali and Jessica

Connor LOVED the carousel! He grabbed right on and had a blast.

This picture will be worth gold when these babies are all grown up!

More Utah - Myers Family

While we were in Utah we got to get together with my dad's side of the family. It was great to see everyone and Connor got to meet his great grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Snow Family Reunion - Utah '08

We spent last week up in Utah visiting my family. We had such a great time and everyone was able to make it. It was great seeing everyone and catching up. We wish we could've spent more time with everyone and gotten more pictures, but the time we got was fun. We spent the 24th at Anzak Park in Salt Lake...

At the end of the night we went back to Amy and Jason's house for the best fireworks show ever! So most of them weren't legal, but no one got hurt and they really were awesome!

Bootyliscious!

Check out this booty! Connor has had these chubby cheeks since the day he was born and they keep gettin' bigger!

Another heart check

Today Connor had another holter monitor put on. This will continuously monitor his heart rate for the next 24 hours and indicate if the Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome is still present. We went in at 10:30 this morning...

After getting his heart monitor in place we took him to lunch at Johnny Rockets...

He couldn't decide what he wanted to eat.

Four hours and a rash from the red tape later...we were back at the doctor's office getting the monitor put back on and the tape taken off. The sticky tabs were old and did not stick. The nurse put on much bigger and stickier tabs. The monitor has a strap on it so he's been wearing it around like a little purse. He's such a little trooper, it hasn't seemed to bother him at all.

He loves playing with his counsin's princess walking toy. He gets so excited when he sees it.

Big boy!

Connor (again I say) is such a big boy. I still can't get over how independent he has become and strong willed. His sleep routine has been turned upside down since he has learned to stand up in his crib...so instead of going down like a the perfect baby he usually is, he likes to stand and eat the paint off the crib! He's teething still and just can't help himself! That little mouth goes on everything! Poor guy, he's getting both his top I teeth and it's been a little rough for him.

He has started pointing! We are working on pointing at the puppys, he's almost got it!

Baby's first 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July weekend! We spent time with friends and family and saw the best fireworks show in town. Connor loved the fireworks and didn't seem to mind the noise at all. He was mesmerized by them.

Mommy's big helpers!

James and Connor are such big helpers around the house. Today Connor discovered the dishwasher while James was doing the dishes. Connor has been pulling himself up and crawling around like crazy. He's hard to keep up with. He loves to follow us around the house and gets a little nervous if he can't see us anywhere.

American Idol

Wednesday night we went to the American Idols Live tour concert in Glendale. We had a great time! I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures of the concert but while we were there Connor was at the Chamberlain's house hanging out. Connor had so much fun playing with Taj and Mia and Loa took such good care of him...Thanks a bunch guys.

Since I left my camera in my diaper bag they took some fun pictures of their night!

So cute!

Such a big BOY!

Connor is such a big boy! We went to dinner the other night and he looked so cute. I styled his hair with product for the first time and couldn't get over it...

Connor is such a big boy he has graduated from his infant seat to the convertable car seat. He is so much more comfortable in it and loves to see out the window. It will really blow his mind when he can be forward facing (mommy can't wait either)...only three more months!
