family night

We had a great family night with this week. My mom got everyone aprons, even the babies and each grandkid got their own gingerbread house to decorate. James got very into it and made Connor's house look great. Connor didn't want to decorate it as much as he wanted to eat all of the candy...he's definately ours. The kids had such a fun time.

James made all of the frosting for everyone! He's such a good uncle.

There is actually a picture of me that proves that I was there...mom you're getting to be such a good photographer!

Connor looked like he was representing the Lollipop guild in his apron. It was pretty hisarious. He absolutely refused to wear his chefs hat with it.

My Family

We had (Myers) family pictures taken a few weeks ago by Stacey Erickson. It was a lot of fun and everyone was there! This was a major accomplishment for our family. It has been several years since we have taken a family picture and we have added to our family considerably since the last photo was taken. We haven't seen all of the pictures yet but I got this one yesterday and wanted to share it. This picture of my family means a lot to me!

breakfast of champions

Connor and I were running a little late this morning so I set him on the counter to help me make a shake. As soon as he saw the pie he stuck his fingers in and went to town. He enjoyed every lick and then some slim fast shake. I think that automatically nominates me for mother of the year, right?

the ostrich farm

We had a fun day today! We took a trip to Casa Grande with Kathy and Randy. We hit some outlet stores and found some good deals. On our way home we decided to let Connor get out and run around at the Ostrich farm. It was a lot of fun and Connor had a very interesting learning experience with ostrich, birds, deer and donkeys.

Connor is very into trucks and anything with wheels really. He loved this one!

I learned today that I don't really like birds...

{Connor is so upset in this picture because a bird landed on his head, another one landed on his arm and another one snapped at his hand...I scared him too I'm sure because I was screaming with birds all over me and unable to grab Connor to make him feel better.}

These birds were seriously out of control!

Connor was so scared of the animals at first but really enjoyed getting close to them and tried to feed them. He had a lot to say about this whole thing and kept saying "whoa" about everything new he saw.

Catching up...

Connor LOVES shoes!

This is video of Connor from the other night. He loves shoes and found mine and kept bringing them to us and trying to walk in them. He kept this up for about a half hour and kept us laughing the whole time.
{Connor loves to wear his shoes all the time...he brings us his Nikes and will cruise around the house in nothing but kicks}

Welcome home Nana!

My mom got to take her first trip to New York and brought back this giant t-shirt for Connor. We missed her lots but are so glad she had such a fun time and actually got a break from everything.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! We were able to spend time with James' family and even see my family for a bit. It was a great time! We have so much to be thankful for this year, we've been so blessed! We have so many great friends and family in our lives that have been such a great help and support to us...so thanks! We love you.
Love,
the Boyle family

This is the Corkill side of the family...

Randy and Grandmama Kathy had such a fun time with Connor yesterday! He gets so spoiled by everyone.

sad guy

Connor got a haircut yesterday and was NOT happy about it! He instantly became upset when the cape was put over him. Poor guy, but he survived and was even got a sucker when he was all done.

He enjoyed this sucker SO much and kept going back and forth from his binkie to the sucker.

Connor conqers the tunnel

Connor was terrified of this tunnel he got for his birthday from Amy...I keep putting it out and he has finally come around and LOVES it. He still doesn't like when you get in it and disapear, but crawling through is a blast. Thanks again Ams.

Trunk-or-Treat!

We took Connor trunk-or-treating last night at the church. I procrastinated on getting him a costume and this was all we could come up with. But I think he is the cuttest little pumpkin ever! He was so scared of the costume at first he had a complete meltdown when we put it on him, and keeping the hat on, forget it! But still it was a fun time.

Pumpkin patch!

Connor and I went to the pumpkin patch this weekend and met up with the Mended Little Hearts group of Tucson. We had so much fun. Connor loves being outside and really enjoyed the pumpkins and especially loved the horses. We met some great families and little babies with from the group. Connor even got the perfect size pumpkin just for him. It was a whopping 2 pounder and cost .80 cents.
