Go Cats

Connor got all decked out to watch the U of A game tonight. Of course the game was on past his bedtime, so he'll have to get filled in tomorrow. He turned 11 weeks old yesterday. He can only sit in his bumbo for about 5 minutes before he starts folding over and grunting trying to breathe. He's starting to love his swing and jungle gym and smiles all the time.

Merry Christmas

Nothing much has been happening with us lately but I have some cute pics of little Connor. I can't stop taking this kids picture! He's getting so big and starting to be more alert. He weighs about 12lbs now. He can follow objects and people with his eyes and he has started rubbing his eyes when he's tired. He slept through the night for the first time last night! He slept from 9:30 to 4:30am! I woke James up to tell him. Of course I didn't get much sleep because I was checking on him so much to make sure he was ok.

Busy day

Connor had a very busy day today. He woke up so happy and was smiling so much for me. He had his 2 month well baby check and got 4 shots! Poor guy. He was so happy and cooing for the nurse and then, bam, she stuck him! It was traumatic for both of us. It broke my heart to see him get so upset. After that we went to meet up with baby Carlee (Connor's girlfriend). Connor has been hearing about the Vonk twins since he was born and we've been waiting to meet them.







As you can see, Carlee was less than impressed with Connor. So it wasn't love at first sight, they've got plenty of time to get to know eachother over the years. And Carson will have to approve also I'm sure. We can't wait to get our hands on Carson, we're so glad he's doing well.

Christmas Party

Tonight was my mom's work Christmas party and James and my first time out alone together since Connor was born. So it was pretty fun. We were both all dressed up and the party was nice. Of course we weren't gone an hour before we were calling James' mom and checking on the baby. He did great! We bailed on the party early to get home, but we did have fun.




Meanwhile...at home Connor was home with his grandma just hanging out. I missed him so much! He stayed awake the whole time we were gone and I was able to hold him and put him down myself, which is one of my favorite times with him.

Gymnastics Meet

My niece Jessica had a gymnastic meet yesterday at the U of A. It was so fun to see her doing something she LOVES. She did a great job and her team won. She was the lucky team member that got to take the trophy home for a while. We are so proud of her.
