january seemed like a busy month for us
but james still managed to pour concrete and extend our patio and cover
up the last patch of dirt left in the backyard!
i never thought a slab of concrete could make me so happy!
no more dirt right outside our back door for the kids to bring
in by the hand fulls...
i thought connor would be upset because he loved to play in the mud
with his dinosaurs but the kids loved it!
it still isn't finished but as long as the dirt is gone i'm happy!
while james and zach were pouring the concrete gamma (james' mom)
came over with her convertible rental car to take the kids on a picnic
{i had a lovely afternoon to myself! - thanks gamma}
the kids absolutely loved the car with no roof
and the weather was perfect for a drive!
gamma said that molly laughed so hard all the way to the park
