crazy hair day

connor's preschool class had crazy hair day for the letter "H"

so in honor of daddy's favorite pass time connor's head was a putting green

the execution was a little off but i thought my idea was fun and connor loved it

his was definitely the "craziest" in the class

all his head was missing was a flag for the hole, maybe next time

Birthday boy!

four years ago today October 12, 2007 at 11:17am i became a mommy

and my life has and never will be the same

in the best possible way...

we love this boy so much!

he is so sweet and loving, creative and smart

he makes us laugh and keeps us wondering 

"how does he know that?"

connor is still into Cars & dinosaurs but as recently he's pretty interested in 

Batman, dragons, transformers & power rangers

(total boy stuff)

connor loves preschool and relaxing on the couch :) (his words all the time)

he's very social and loves spending time with his cousins and friends and he's a great big brother to his little nolly

we had a great day today 

special breakfast, best friends to play with, presents

chuck-e-cheese, playing with the neighbor kids,

cake and more wild time with friends.

we are exhausted!

i can't wait to see what the next year brings connor...his interests, talents and adventures!

these two love birds tied the knot last weekend!

this is my brother and his new wife Carla...

the ceremony was beautiful

and the lunch was nice

and the reception was an all night party!

(seriously, i'm pretty sure we were fast asleep before it ended)

here are some of the highlights:

there was a conga line

a dance with mascarade masks,

a dance with bandanas,

a dance with aprons,

adorable dances for the bouquet and garter tosses

and oh so much more 

it was so fun getting to see everyone who traveled from different places 

my kids had 2 great grandmothers, one great granddad and two grandmas there that night

(i so wish my kids were better for pictures)

connor was pretty "shy" but did get out on the dance floor a few times, he has some pretty sweet dance moves

molly had a great time and loved dancing too!

but it was also fun hiding under the table...

stealing people's sodas,

dancing with mom and dad and biting open a glow stick :)

the reception was beautiful and tons of fun

we are so happy for zach and carla! 

i can't wait to see everyone else's pictures from that day...this was pretty much the best of the best on our camera 

swimming at the resort the next day was so fun...

look at that undiapered bum!!! love it!

thank you to the johnsons and kathy for helping us with our kids!

they had so much fun with you!

there isn't much to say about this...

except this girl doesn't stop!

not even a little potty training will keep her from her phone calls

(she's going to kill me for this one day :)

connor has become such a goofy boy...

Happy Birthday Baby

Two years ago today this princess came into our life...

and completely rocked our world!

We would not be complete without her

she brings us so much joy and has become a best friend to her big brother

she is definitely a firecracker and so independent

her most recent obsession is Cinderella 

(she pronounces it so well...cinderell-lla)

we watch it all day, we play with our cinderella dolls and dress just like her

she still loves:

 Dora & Diego

doggies

punzel (Tangled)

shoes

purses

lipgloss 

baby dolls

books

singing

jewelry (as you can see in this picture)

the list goes on...

she had a great birthday and whenever someone said "happy birthday Molly" she would respond with "oh happy birthday"

she got a cinderella dress that she doesn't want to take off and will correct you if you call her Molly she will say "i'm cinderellla"

i couldn't live without her little voice, she speaks so well and has a lot to say from the second she wakes up

Happy Birthday Moo-Moo! We love you to the moon and back!

molly is always making us laugh

she does peculiar things like eat AND sleep with her sunglasses on

we couldn't live without this little entertainment 

she is so sweet too

we just love her

poolside fun

the kids have LOVED the water this summer

and they are getting so comfortable in the pool

molly is in and out, but connor can full on swim with his puddlejumper on!

makes me so proud!

we enjoyed an afternoon at uncle jeff & aunt yvonne's house a few weeks ago

the kids loved swimming with daddy & grandma

connor started preschool today...

he had so much fun and loves his teacher

we are so excited he did so good and wasn't scared one bit to go inside, he didn't even say goodbye :( we are so proud!

we got a few pictures when we picked him up

it's so hard to believe he's big enough to go to preschool (*tear*)

he came home with a green sticker, which means he had a great day!

today connor learned that "sharing is fun"

he told me that when i reminded him to share with his sister, and he said "you're right Mom, sharing is fun."

*on a side note do you like how connor is wearing his hair these days?  he refuses to let me spike it up, he only likes it combed to the side MOM!
