Much anticipated

As promised here is my post about Connor and his box. His favorite thing to do is take every toy out of the box and just play with the empty box. I keep him occupied by filling it up every once and a while so he has to keep taking everything out. He has one of these boxes in his room, my room and I keep one in the car full of stuff for trips to grandma's house.

More teeth!

Connor's top teeth finally broke through. I can't believe my baby has 4 teeth and he isn't even 8 months old yet. Lucky me since he is still nursing and won't even consider taking a bottle! (Things have been pretty slow around the Boyle house lately, hence the post about my baby's teething situation...sorry. But tomorrow I will post about his new favorite thing, which is taking stuff out of boxes, exciting!

Memorial Day

Today we started our first family tradition. We went to Pima Air and Space Museum for Memorial Day. I drive by it everyday and have been wanting to go for so long. It was so much fun to be able to spend some time with my family! We saw some pretty cool planes and even got to walk through President Kennedy's Airforce One. We also saw some impressive military aircrafts and WWI and WWII exhibits. Here are some pictures of the highlights.

So close...

Connor is coming so close to being able to crawl! He started getting up on his knees a few weeks ago, he hasn't figured out the whole hand-knee placement/movement thing, but he gets around pretty well for not being able to crawl.

He rolls and scoots everywhere. I have already started baby proofing and getting things out of his reach. He's into everything! He has these looks of determination on his face when he tries getting around. You can tell he is concentrating so hard. Stay tuned...I know one day he will just take off!

The Vonks are in town!!! We are so excited to spend some time with Carlee, Carson and Amy. We can't get enough of them. Connor has had a blast with the twins and is getting used to sharing his toys and binkies (or having them taken from him by Carlee :). Swimming has been so much fun and all three of them love the water.

Today my parents celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary! We just wanted to say congratulations on a wonderful marriage and a great family to show for it. Here's to 30 more!!

Coke or Pepsi?

It's so funny how interested in random things Connor has become. I can't have anything in my hands or near me on the table without this little guy grabing for it. He's so curious about everything now. And things like a an empty Coke box entertain him for a long time! And to think we've spent so much on all those fun toys!

Playground

Today we went for a walk to the playground in our neighborhood. Connor loves being outside so I thought we would try out the swing today. He LOVED it! He squealed and laughed the whole time. It was such a blast just seeing how happy he was. It also made him so tired, his morning nap was amazing!

Connor's favorite thing lately is shoulder rides from Daddy! He wiggles, giggles and rockes back and forth.

Peek-A-Boo!

Connor and I went to watch James golf in a tournament last weekend. The wind was blowing pretty hard so I put his umbrella down. This completely blocked his view of the world. I looked over and saw a little face peeking out of this little spot of the stroller. He was cracking us up looking out this little window.
