Just in time

Today was the offical walk through on our house. Everything looks amazing and we are so excited to close and get the keys this Friday. We're picking paint colors and packing this week. It's a little overwhelming with everything we have to do before the baby comes, but I'm sure we will get it all done. We'll keep putting pics up as we move in and get settled.

Baby Shower

Today James' Aunt Jenna and his cousin Casey threw me a baby shower! It was so nice and I had so much fun. I made out very well and we got some great stuff. We got the swing and a baby seat and the bath tub. It felt like I was opening present forever, which was so fun. I'm so excited about all the stuff I want to open it all and play with it.








We played lots of games including the one where people guess the side of your belly. My friend Sarah guessed it right on!!



Thanks again for everyone who came and brought us stuff. Baby Connor is very lucky!

32 Weeks

I can't believe it's been 32 weeks and we still have some time to go. We are seeing the doctor every two weeks now and little baby Connor is doing great. He's moving everyday and growing as he should be. We are getting anxious about his arrival but very excited at the same time.

James felt a little left out so we measured his belly too. He hasn't put on a pound or an inch since I've been pregnant and he eats crazier then I do! He's had some pretty funny cravings and mixed some weird foods together. He's also experienced fatigue and some morning sickness! I can't help but roll my eyes sometimes.

The House

Today we went out to our house to check the progress. Things are looking good so far and we are so excited to be moving soon. We still need our driveway, flooring and kitchen appliances. It should be done sometime in the next 3-5 weeks. We have been busy trying to pick paint colors and pick new couches. We know it will all look great once we are in there. Here are a few pics to sort of get an idea. There was too much stuff out front to get any good pictures of the new paint job.

We were a little worried about our countertops, but today we both agreed we are very happy with the choice we made.


We can't wait to get in the house to get the baby's room all put together. We have the baby's crib and changing table all in boxes, I can't wait to watch James put everything together!

Pachanga!!

This weekend we went up to Phoenix to Loa and Taylor's new place for baby Mia's blessing. We had so much fun and their new place looks great!

Baby's first concert

We went to the American Idols Live tour the other night with my mom and neice Ali for her birthday. It was so fun! It got pretty loud, but baby seemed to be fine. He moved a little, but seemed to be sleeping most of the night. My mom had the time of her life. We didn't get any good pictures of anyone!




This was the day we went to the doctor and received the curshing news that I'm growing at an alarming rate. James' shirt was funny to me and made me feel better. People kept commenting on it as we walked around together.

Whoa!

I can't believe it. I'm getting so big, people keep commenting on my belly size but I don't care. He's a very active baby too...he moved constantly yesterday.


I am enjoying a snack just before dinner with Beans. Chips and ranch dip! Can't gegt enough! Pregnancy pictures aren't so bad from far away. It's less shocking that way.

Newest member of the family

Tonight I met my new niece Hannah. She is so cute and little. She looks just like her daddy and has the biggest pincher toes you've ever seen on such a little baby. She was born on July 2nd and has been adored by her older sister Jessica.


She kept making the funniest facial expressions I've ever seen. She has some long arms, legs, hands and feet. It was fun to practice on a brand new one, I think I'm going to do ok.





Sonja is doing well and even has had time to make us a baby quilt for our little one. It is so cute and we know our little guy will love it.

Get your hair did...

Loa and I spent the whole day at the Dallas Robert's hair school with Lori getting our hair done. It was so much fun! We both LOVE our new color and are so excited what a deal we got. Lori did an awesome job and I will for sure be a client of hers.

Baby Shower

We had a last minute baby shower for Amy while all of us were together. It was so fun and a great excuse for us to get together and talk shop. I can't believe Amy and I are having babies together, they will practically be triplets! We got some cute stuff for our boys that match!

Loa, Amy and I all got baby sound machines! They are so cute and they play sounds of the rain-forest.
