the day molly was born

well molly made it to her scheduled birthday...

we went in at 5:30am to get started and by 7:51am we had a new baby, i was so nervous about the c-section i can't believe i made it through. my mom was lucky enough to get to be in the operating room under one condition...she keep very quiet during the whole thing. her and james did great and it was nice to have them both in there. my mom was able to stay with me in the recovery room while james got to stay with the baby. i was so proud of james for watching the whole thing and taking some great pictures of her being born.

everything went so well it was just like the nurses and doctors told us it would be, only faster. my doctor had her out in about 15 minutes and

by the time they wheeled me into recovery, i could hear them preping another patient for her c-section.

i was convinced during this pregnancy that she was bigger then connor, and she was. but for some reason when they pulled her out she looked so small and still does seem so little to me. i guess we forgot how tiny connor used to be now that he is almost 2 years old.
