preschool

a look back at the beginning of fall for us...

these two kidos started preschool a few months ago,they are really enjoying it and love their teachers 

party time

connor's party was a success...

he had to have his party at chuck e cheese

even though chuck e cheese himself makes him feel afraid

in fact chuck e cheese made all the kids nervous, most cried

my favorite superheros!

we are so happy carlee & carson could come!

miss moo was dressed as meridia from Brave

our new favorite movie!

i made chuck be a creeper in the background for the pic, the kids didn't even know he was there :)

this was so cute! connor got to go into the ticket blaster and scored a ton of extra tickets!

5 years ago today I became a mom...

to this sweet boy who has changed my life forever!(this day has been a little bitter sweet for me that my baby is 5)

he is so thoughtful and sweet it kills me sometimes :)

these days he's so funny and has a lot to say

some of his favorites these days are:

teenage mutant ninja turtles

avengers

captain america

dinosaurs 

cars

army guys

mine craft

he's still a picky eater

he's the first one up at our house

he loves music and to sing

he has the cuttest freckles on his nose and cheeks

we had quite the day today...

we visited the zoo, today was so beautiful out it was great to be outside!

we saw all of connor's favorites

the jaguars, otters and elephants...

the polar bear at our zoo recently died and connor is still upset we don't have a new one yet :(

connor got all of the ninja turtles for his birthday...he was one happy kids

after the zoo we went bowling and it was so fun/funny!

this was only connor's second time and it was molly's first...she LOVED it!

after our day at the zoo and bowling alley we got a special visit from our best twins who are in from Utah...these three kidos are 2 weeks apart and we love spending time with them

happy meals for dinner and cake with friends...it was a great day!

we love you and think you're the BEST dad in the world!

the many outfits of molly...

this girl loves to get up in the morning!

she hits the ground running and before my eyes are even open she is dressed in some funky ensemble and looking for her "tiny boots"

connor can hardly get a t-shirt on and off but not his baby sister...the piles of laundry grow every day because by noon she has changed a least 6 times

{i keep forgetting to get a whole day of photos of her to count how many times she changes}

whether it is boots, hats, dress up heels, princess costumes or wings she is wearing it

she doesn't let me do her hair and if she does she takes it out 5 minutes after it's done

and i let her because this is what i love about her! she is such a little individual and sassy to boot!

this is one of my favorites!

she insisted on wearing this to the mall last week and she wore it with pride 

her thinking is that the boots are functional for riding horses, the skirt is girly and cute and pink is her favorite color...outfit done!

absolutely love this girl!

every day would be boring without her!

it's that time of year again...

every year around father's day we get all the grandkids/cousins together for group pictures

my parent's get a kick out of these pictures through the years and we always make my dad a tie for father's day 

{he loves showing these kids off}

this year we decided to do outdoor pictures

and in the amount of time we had before the sun set i think we got some good pictures

these kids are growing up so fast

i love how close they all are and how good they are to each other!

connor graduates

this cute boy graduated from his first year of preschool last month...

i cannot believe how fast it went but he loved every minute of it!

he is a very social kid and loves making new friends!  we loved his teacher Miss Kylee and hope to send molly to her in the fall.  she is such a fun teacher with creative fun stuff to do...

he will do another year of preschool before he starts kindergarten because he's a fall baby but this was a great first experience for us!

that's the teacher's daughter and she is head over heels in love with connor!  Miss Kylee is always telling me she just stares at him like she's thinking "kiss me now!" it's so funny because i totally saw it at the graduation, she was all over him!  it was so cute and connor says he loves her except when she is climbing all over him ;)

his graduation program was so cute!

the kids did little songs about numbers and letter to show us how much they learned all year...there was costumes and music and i have to admit i teared up a little seeing my big boy perform

as a surprise to the parents miss kylee helped the kids put together a journal to see some of their favorite projects, she also made a video of class and took tons of pictures throughout the year of the kids and the fun activities they got to do.

easter weekend was so busy and this is another easter egg hunt the kids got to do with the primary...

connor was an animal and took off to fill his basket 

molly on the other hand just stood there unsure what the point was

luckily there were some nice adults that helped coach her and fill her bag

she picked up a few and had a few dropped in 

{let's just say we got enough plastic eggs this year i won't have to buy any for the next few years}

she was far more interested in the swings and popsicles anyway

Easter 2012

Easter Sunday...

was pretty low key at our house this year

miss moo came into our room early in the morning burning up and her fever kept strong for a few days after

so james and connor suited up and headed to church for a bit after the kids tore through their baskets and stuffed their faces with candy for breakfast

we stayed home the rest of the day and got to relax...well, hold a sick, fussy babe all day more like it

but it was actually nice...molly was calm and wanted to snuggle and even nap

it took some convincing for him to wear the pink shirt but serious...how adorable!

the easter bunny took some nibbles on connor's awesome carrot cookies ;)

but would have nothing to do with on easter

i tried to get her to put it on even for a second to take a picture but she was too sick for dressing up...and that's when we knew she really didn't feel well ;)
